Thanks for looking! Any C&C is welcomed! I shoot bikes about once a year so I can use all the help I can get...

I LOVE the shot of Ben Spies. Was that a panning shot, or motion blur in photoshop?

Awesome work, not often we see ppl using slower shutter speeds for bikes but you pulled it off so damn well.

Very nice. I really like #3. Such a unique panning angle. It blows away any of my panning attempts

Oh, no you didn't! :o
Matt is #66.
Spies caries plate #1 in Superbike. He is #11 is Superstock. Hopefully next year he will carry the #1 plate in both series.

Excellent images, love #3, not sure what #2 is all about though?

Thanks!
I was curious if anyone would say anything about #2... It was sort of an experiment. I liked that location, and I wanted to pan the background, but at that shutter speed, 1/60, I could only get a very shallow part of the bike in focus.... I shot both with the number plate in focus or with the riders helmet in focus. I prefered the riders helmet: to me it seemed a little more "Man vs. Machine".....
Thanks again everyone for the comments

all your shots are great. You ever thought of shooting Motocross? Mid-Ohio is a D12 AMA Track also!

Love all your pics...Really..
Your second pic the Ferracci rider is a bit blurry but all the rest make me jealous...1)to get the chance to take those pics ( haven't had a chance to hit a race in a few years) and 2) taking such good pics...
Nice work...Thanks for sharing

I like them all I really love number 1. I wish I could get shots like this at the track. You mind if I ask what lens you were using? The exif data on the first image says you were at 420mm.

I was using a 300 f4L on a mk2N, sometimes w/a 1.4x telextender. The mk2 is a 1.3 crop sensor. Not sure what the math works out to be on all that....:)
