nice picture. Shame about the chains being so close to the car.

Nice shot of a very famous car, probably worth +-$750,000 now

nice picture. Shame about the chains being so close to the car.
And they wouldn't move them for anything, including an L lens. :)

How do you get an ex-racing car registered?

Unless it's not really an ex-racer. The more I look at it, the more I see small details that are missing from a real racing car (bonnet clips for one, tow-hook for another).
I'm calling mock-up.

does look a little different from their racing trim, nice picture though.
(Brock/Moffat Comm as seen at Pukekohe back when I had an AE-1 and the security was a little less stringent here (http://joebloggs.servebeer.com/potn/brock.jpg) 329Kb file)

Missing antenae, wiper blades sweep left to right, and theres two of them, $750,000 and you can fall over the chains, think not. However a good picture except for the crowd, can we clone them out ;)

This head on archive shot shows some clear differences - eg the windscreen strip

There was no rego sticker on it. I doubt it is registered, any car driven on the street painted like that would be a cop magnet.
