View Full Version : uploading pics to web makes them grey?

I don't understand it... I hope someone here can help me.

When I finish editing a photo, the colors look good. I upload it to the web, and all the tones look gray and dull. I've found this to occur when I upload to a file server via raw FTP, into my gallery, and to Photobucket. The only upload that seems to preserve the colors is when I upload to mpix.com.

What colorspace are they in? My EXIF viewer says uncalibrated which means that you either have not included the ICC profile when saving or you are using a profile other than sRGB. sRGB should be used for web as the majority of browsers are not color managed.
