Nice, Mark! For some reasons, the only spiders that I like are jumpers and crabs  .....go figure.......the 2nd one is my favorite, btw :)

Good captures Mark- not certain if I've seen this one before or not but I certainly wouldn't of thought it was a wolf spider (not suggesting you are wrong BTW).

God are these the guys you see running along the pebbles? They are ferociously fast! Have yet to get a half decent snap of one- although now with my 300mm and extension tubes perhaps... lol awesome shots to me- to get snaps of these guys; I'm impressed

Great shots Mark.

Having tried to get a shot of spiders from similar habitats, I know how quickly they move. I haven't yet managed a blurred shot, let alone a sharp one.

Well done.

Hiya Bernie, Bryce, Alan, Linda,

Many thanks for your kind words & comments,

Bryce,
It was running for cover as I had disturbed it's hiding place which was under a sheet of old Bark that had fallen from a tree, it was ducking & diving trying to hide again

Allan,
Thanks for that :D I'll try n remember to PM him later

Mark, great find and excellent shots!

I'd love to help you with translation, but the linked website is either Czech or Slovak, so we're out of luck.
