I took this photo and it appealed to me. I was just wondering if it is something that is just one of those photos that beauty is in the eye of the beholder or not. Thanks for the comments and critiques!

When I click the links I get a message that says, "You do not appear to be the owner of this album. Make sure you are logged in." Does anyone else get this error?

The first doesn't appeal to me at all, sorry. The second is nice, but I think if the shot was taken headon, the symmetry would have added to it.

The second shot is by far the best. Unfortunately it's angled, (see the step) and that kind of messes it up. Also, I don't know if it would work or not, but try opening a door (to invite the view in...)

Well, the first picture is of a Nike emblem. Boring. The 2nd one is of your parents entryway. Boring. I think you need some more creative subjects. Sorry, just doesn't do anything for me.

The photographic angle and composition are good though - good photography of boring subjects.

- good photography of boring subjects

I guess this is what I was trying to do. I was attempting to take every day subjects and photograph them as to take the normalcy <sp.> out of them.

Thanks for viewing them and I'll keep working at it.

Sorry, there's just a lack of any kind of drama in both the shots.

Just re-read my post, and I am sorry if I seemed too critical. The beauty is sometimes in the eye of the beholder. I'm sure some people would find some of my stuff boring too. Keep up with posting pictures - it is really good photography.
