They seem nice and crisp. Exposure is off a bit. I really like the flower as a subject.

I recently got that lens for use on my xti and am still learning. Because of my age, I cannot use it without a tri or monopod. Working in PS, I insist on a good image at 100%. IS helps, but I doesn't overcome my shakes, esp over 125 mm. I use the IS with the monopod and turn it off with the tripod.

i had a 70-300 with is and sold it for a 70-200 f4 l but missed the is too much , so i sold it and and bought the is version , but trying to get to grips with this now and as you say you have to get a good image at 100%.

Good candid photo of the boys.. NICE and crisp! They look a little "devilish"!

Very nice. I think one of the really great things about these lenses is the creamy smooth backgrounds they produce. These are really quite nice.
