Thats it for examples? I gotta super deal awaiting for me and i am still unsure. Hear alot about flare issues, the fact it has a non-removeable lens hood, not much capability for lens filters, etc... i want real proof or examples.

Weird FL and slow so I wouldn't expect to many to have it.

You could try here:

It looks better suited to full frame where its really wide, have a look at these examples:

I've since found my copy soft at 15mm and intend to send it in to Sigma for a tuneup. Not sure if my copy is typical. Pretty damn sharp at 30mm though. I'm reserving judgement until Sigma has a chance to work their magic on my copy.
Flare - curved lenses like this are always subject to flare. With a little care, you can usually avoid it.
Non-removeable lens hood - not much of a problem unless the size of the lens is an issue.
Filters - can take an 82mm filter with the lens cap holder in place but will cause some vignetting at the wide end with a Cokin P filter even on a 1.6 crop body. I have not tried a low-profile 82mm CPL yet.

I sold my 15-30 a while ago but it did take some very good pictures though it was very slow. It's not suited to low to medium light with people, I found that wide open it was pretty yuck though once stopped down was quite good and great value.
Anyway, here's a few pics that I took with it on the 5D and 10D

I'm surprised at how few people post examples taken with the Sigma 15-30 as it's a very good lens - if stopped down a bit.
Just found a few so decided to post:

If it's stopped down a little I think it's a cracking lens. Wide open is not so good but f/5.6 up is good, f/8 is superb. I only sold mine to get the 16-35L and f/2.8 but if you're not working is low light and if it's at a good price it's well worth it.

I am thinking of getting another of these as they're so cheap but turn out excellent results. A snap of Mike Oldfield taken with 5D Classic at 15mm

Good lens ... I swapped it for a 17-40mm but didn't see that as any better. Worth looking out for if you can find a SH model as they often go for cheap prices.

I prefer the 16-35L but I thought that people on a tight budget or just testing the water in wide angle may find the 15-30 a good value lens able to turn out good results - and it flares less than the 16-35 mkI.

I also think the Sigma 15- 30mm is a nice lens for the money when one is very careful looking for flare and stops the lens down. Here's an image I took during a course.
I used my Canon EOS- 1D, Sigma 15- 30mm set between 15- 20mm as I recall on a tripod. It was just before sunrise and I used a 2,000,000 candle power portable lamp to illuminate the coquina rocks.

Andy,
I've noticed flare with this lens also. Using my hand or a PhotoFlex diffuser really helps or shooting from the shade. Always study the LCD to make sure no flare is present.
Great value for the money as you say....

Ha ha, Thanks Andy. I got it yesterday and took it out to the Griffith Park. Just cropped the top and bottom. From my experience with ultrawides (Canon 17-40mmL, Sigma 20mm, Sigma 17-35mm f2.8-4, Sigma 10-20, Canon 10-22, Tokina 11-16). It's right up there with the Canon 17-40L and the Sigma 20mm f1.8 (which when I compared the two seemed to be in a similar ball park). I know it's for a cropped body but the Tokina 11-16 is still the sharpest ultrawide I've had by far.
Cropped the top and the bottom. Back at the Griffith Observatory.
