Hmmmmm, Very Nice Indeed. Love this concept of the slow and the normal melded together. Quite a wonderful effect. You must have more to share...? Well Done and Thank You for Sharing these. Spot on composition and exposures.. even if pumped a little in the PP!

Thanks Joayne. First time doing this for me- I was very tentative about going "too far" with the processing. Of course these shots are impossible without filters during the shot or pp. I must admit it is a lot of fun!

Here's the original photo's from the first shot...

Wow, would never have guessed this was Ontario.
Good job on the combining of exposures in that first shot.

Very well done and nice processing. I would prefer a little more foreground light in the second photo as the rocks appear too dark on my monitor.

Thanks Lynn - photography is a lot like golf - I'm trying to remember all I've seen and read about "good" landscape photo's. Getting a view that leads the eye through three levels is something I was looking for. Also - I was aiming to find interesting rock clusters and in this case I think there are some triangular connections between them.

Very well done and nice processing. I would prefer a little more foreground light in the second photo as the rocks appear too dark on my monitor.
I found the foreground rock difficult to work with. After my first "final copy" I printed it out and they were nearly all black. After some dodging of the near rocks, I found this effect pleasing. That's the problem with digital - everyone sees a different shot. Nothing beats a print!

Beautiful shot! Really love the first one. Nice work!!

Thanks Adam. Very nice galleries on your pbase- those sunsets in S.E. Asia are stunning.

I prefer the landscape one. The portrait one would have been better with the water flowing around the rocks in the foreground.
