Hey guys I thought I would share.
I watched a documentary on tv just a few minutes ago, I almost still have a tear in my eye. I would reccomend watching this.
Its called war photographer. http://www.war-photographer.com/
Its a documentary about James Nachtwey's work, I think hese photography is brilliant, his recognition speaks for itself. But the story he tells is what really counts.
Cheers.

He really is, Im planning a trip next summer to do a tour of my home country (Iran) and maybe egypt area(northern africa), I think I might attempt to cover some of the poverty stricken areas as well as some of the areas that show signs of the chemical warfare of the Iran/Iraq war. I also know af area's that still dont even have electricity or running water.
Its something that I feel the world needs to keep seeing. We all deserve to have a voice.
I think I will definatly keep my options open, his work is truly inspiring.

War Photographers are amazing people. The photos they take express to the world the ups and downs of war. They help bring it home.
Check out Harrison's Flowers sometime. Based on true events.

The whole things was in english...............
I was in Iran about 7 years ago for a year, so when I was 13 & 14. I had no clue what photography was. My mom and aunt have gone back several times since then. Im waiting to get a letter from my college so I can go. If you dont know, people with Iranian parents must serve in the military. If you are 16+ you cant leave the country and if you go back after you turn 16(if you were out of the country) and have not served, they dont let you go unless you buy out (10 grand or have a letter that you attend post secondary).
I know that there are so many social and economical problems in Iran, I wanted to document it. I'm fully aware that Sara Kazemi was murdered by the Government for trying to do this a couple years ago, but Im willing to try and be a little smarter about it. I also will be going to see family, so my intentions will be a little more secret and I have no plans of going face to face with governmental people, even though I have a personal contact with President Khatami.
Well, thats plan for next year + I want to do a little tour of egypt.
