Yeah mate ... my only criteria was the one mentioned ... there is some work there that doesn't do it for me at all ;-) So have you heard of this guy called Dan Cripps? I've heard his work is great ... might have to throw his name up there ...

Seriously tho, if you have any ideas on how we could fairly "rank" the photographers listed, I'm open to them. It just didn't feel right for me to arbitrarily filter them according to my own tastes. So I didn't. But I wanted to ;-)

Great list, added to my list.

One comment - I surfered through the first half dozen links on the list. While every site contained top notch images - once I got to them, at least 50% had real tedious web pages. Way too long to load. I stopped a good 30% prematurely because it was just soooo tedious to get to the images.

But then I am not in the market for another wedding ....

No promises are made about the speed of the websites ;-) Many of the high-end ones are designed for high-end clients with high-end broadband. It doesn't mean their images aren't worth waiting for ... ;-)

I'd like to recommend Glen Johnson. He's got a recently published wedding photography book Digital Wedding Photography that was a GREAT read (really relevant, recent stuff). On top of all that I think his photos are pretty inspirational IMHO.

Also - Tim Wild from Wellington (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/member.php?u=20428). Tim often thinks outside the square with his compositions and, thereby, provides further inspirational thought.

Hi all, my first post here - been reading for a while. I'm quite surprised Mike Dearden isn't on the list! - http://www.deardenstudio.co.uk/ - amazing photographer.. has given me a lot of inspiration. He shot our wedding (here (http://wa.theimagefile.co.uk/?skin=6927&Action=_VC&id=113240&ppwd=rt8181kk)). Probably as he's a UK photographer, and from what I can tell the majority of the users here are stateside?

He's won some pretty prestigious awards over here.

Just found this thread... amazing inspiration, truly something to aspire to.

One notable omission on the list is a brilliant British wedding photographer whose name many will recognize: Damien Lovegrove (Google him if you don't). I first heard of him when I chanced upon his book, The Complete Guide to Professional Wedding Photography.
