She's a 110 foot patrol boat out of Petersburg, Alaska. I posted another thread of just her in Glacier Bay, AK...

Great series with nice colours! I like your style. Well done. :)

#3, #5, and #8 are my favourites, but the rest are equally note-worthy.

Nice series - interesting stuff. I really like #6 - not sure why, perhaps it's just because it doesn't get that cold around here :p

All good #3 and #8 stand out, #3 as i wish you had included the other prop a little more, however i love how the light reflects of the main one.
#8 as you've captured the surf really well,it makes me want to jump aboard for the cruise! :)

Fantastic stuff. That first one is my favorite... you really expose and photoshopped that well.

I've love to see more. I alos like the one with the tripod on the boat and the water passing by slow shutter, great idea.

Thanks for the kind responses! Mumbles, I think I lightened the shadows slightly on the first one, but other than that, it's straight from the camera. I lucked out on the atmospherics that morning.

Thanks for looking,
Herb

Fantastic shots. #8 is my favorite.
When I was in Guam in the 80's I used a Canon AE-1. I wish I had a digital I would have taken more pics. To damn expensive there to process.

I thought I would get a cool shot one night while patrolling of the coast at night. I took my camera and set it to flash so I could capture the waves on the bow. As soon as I took the shoot I realized I really &$%^%% up. The officer of the deck was really PO'd. That flash looked like a flare so everyone on shore called in and reported a flare from a distressed boat. We had to spend a few hours looking around even though we knew it was me.:o
Not to mention that I ruined everyone's night vision.:cry:

Live and learn.
