These were shot recently at Baltimore Washington International with the 70-200 2.8, as I was pretty close. I did get a visit from three police officers while shooting; seems someone called me in for having a "high-powered" camera. I was in the public Aviation Park in plain view, geez. I did have some obnoxious replys ready about the "high-powered" thing but wisely kept them to myself. An ID check and I was free to continue. I can't imagine the response if I'd had a 400 2.8!

Nice crisp shots!!!

Now imagine if the cops were told you were aiming a canon at the planes. :D

Nice shots there Joe, the winglets on these 737's look huge It's a small world, i thought i recognised the name from elsewhere on the net. ARC!

Why is it that "high powered" lenses/cameras seem to generate panic amongst non photographers, what are they expecting us to do, other than take a photo?

I'm still looking for a t-shirt that says "I'm a photographer, not a terrorist..."
