Reminds me of a song: "I wear my sunglasses at night"...

Very odd place to be wearing sun glasses... Very odd.

The lighting reminds me of blinds (with the horizontal flow of light) but is too uneven for it...

Seems like early morning, but then the back corner is still dark... Perhaps if there was less light on the subject and the flash light was less focused, it would be better (oh, and no glasses). The light balance is well done... and the composition is good (but not sure about the bar or whatever in the back ground...)

I was gonna say, as soon as I saw this, it reminded me of the same Corey Hart song.
I dont know what it is about that headboard that really bothers me.

The lighting looks pretty 'normal'. With a process that's so versatile, why not try something really interesting, like painting with different colors of light? If you used RGB, or CMY gels, or a combination of them, the result would be white light where they overlapped, & colored elsewhere.

Have fun with it!

wow, I really like this technique. I'll have to give it a try.

Everything looks fine to me, but I think it would have looked a bit more intimate if you filled the frame a bit more. I like the glasses though. It gives it gives it a bit more glamour and makes it seem less like just a pic of a girl in bed. Reminds me of that fiona apple video.

There is no normal lighting it is completely dark in the room. I used a flash light to paint light on her.
As for the gel trick it wont work here because the 3d effect only works on motion. Here is a picture i took using the method you suggested. Anything stationary will be normal, but moving it will have the 3 gel colors.this was shot using my canon AE 1 using fuji film. I had to of course expose the film with all three filters on the same frame. there is some camera shake despite using a tripod. Switching out the gels require extremely careful replacement. Even though i tried my best and secured everything the slightest move will throw the scene off. thanks for the suggestion :D

here is my other pic with more skin.
There is no flash, im totally winging it with how much light i should expose on her. B&W might be better for this type of pic. The whole reason for this experiment is because i saw this in a Paris Vogue magazine. The photographer used this interesting techique.
