Subscribed thread problem

In the user cp I had a few subscribed threads I did not click on (listed in New Subscribed Threads). I did not participate, but subscribed to them. They have been showing up on the user cp (New Subscribed Threads) for days. I was waiting for the thread activity to die down before reading.

Today they disappeared from New Subscribed Threads. I never clicked to read, nor clicked to unsubscribe.

Is there a time limit on threads if, for example, nobody enters a new post for a day or two that would cause them to disappear? Any other reason they would disappear from New Subscribed Threads other than reading or unsubscribing. They are still listed in Subscribed Threads.

Edit: I did click Mark Forum Read on the forums they were contained in, but never read the actual thread. I did not think clicking Mark Forum Read would override a thread subscription that had new posts since last reading.

The subscribed threads are still listed by the ‘View all Subscribed Threads’ link in the upper right, but they disappear from the list of ‘Subscribed threads with new posts’ because you marked ALL the posts of that forum as read.

Yea, I figured that was what it was. seemed logical. Just never noticed it before I guess. thanks.
