confused and need help!!!!! Want to shoot more weddings.

Ok.... so I have elements 4 and photoshop 6. I have a few actions in photoshop 6. I am not big into pp but love the look of pp pictures. I am doing more and more weddings. I want to start advertising but need a better pp system. I shoot raw and use dpp.

Do I need cs2 or 3 or should I buy lightroom?
Does adobe bridge work alone?
What about purchasing "show it" and "brilliant" or Kutobo or whatever that guy is?

I need a plan. Basically I want to use other peoples presets and actions to do my work. Mine are no good.

If your looking to purchase you could take a college class and get your Photoshop cs2 or 3 for about half price. Thats what I did. It helps to have some help getting started working with layers . Its very much a "hands on" thing. Lots of tutorials out there as well.

If you aren't big on PP yourself, then you'll be fine with the photoshop version you have. I'd suggest getting Lightroom. It's pretty much like an advanced RAW editor.

All the edits I did to a couple of your photos earlier were done in Lightroom.

You could also take a photography class or two that would help you get exposures right at the point of capture instead of having to rely on photoshop. Unless you want to make photos look fancy. But is making photos fancy worth the time and effort instead of just getting a great shot to have stand on its own?
