I took this when I was driving around. I added the border, blurred the background, and made it B&W.

What do you think?
Thanks for looking!
Oh: I blurred the lisense plate and face to post on the net.

Looks like you did a good job with it. I'd like to see a bit more detail in the truck, but those old pics were usually contrasty.

I added film grain. I will take it out.
Update: When I took it out I didn't like it.
Thanks for the comment!

The film in the '50s was pretty fine grained. It was the majority of the cams that were crap! Fixed at f-16 @ 1/60 sec.
Instructions: Put the sun over your shoulder & shoot when the subjects squint looks painful!

HAHAHHAA! This was taken with a Nikon in the 50's. Notice the grain.

So? You were making a '50s pic & I was telling you why the average '50 pic had little grain. 2-1/4 film & Verichrome Pan film.

It's a great pic, to me.
The only thing I don't like is that it is visible where you made the driver's face unrecognizable.
I agree that that's the decent thing to do, but it disturbs the picture, nevertheless. Maybe you should have used grain to achieve the effect, not a blur filter.
Best regards,
Andy

I just did that for the internet because I don't know him etc. I have it printed with his face un blurred. It isn't blurred on the final picture.

That'S what I thought.
Maybe you can make his face unrecognizable by applying more grain.
Best regards,
Andy
