unidentified image

every time i put my memory card into a computer and view them or upload them on to the computer, i cant view those specific ones on my camera again. It has a question mark, and it says unidentified image. Does anyone have any answers too this, or how i could fix it?

I think you will find that your software is altering the EXIF data in some way as it downloads the images, and the camera just "gives up". Solution? Make sure you are using the latest Canon software and not some other method of downloading.

If I rename an image on the computer and save it back to the card, the camera can't read it.

The camera only read it's own coding . You can put anything on flash cards - but the camera only reads it's own coding so in some cases it will over-write other stuff it doesn't consider what it is - just I didn't create this so it ain't important .
