I took my new Bigma out round central London for the first time yesterday in the only bag I have that's big enough to contain it + 350D body. Let's just say that while the Crumpler December Quarter is a brilliant bag for when I want to transport all my gear, it's not a sensible day bag.

I reckon I'm going to need a backpack if I want to take the Bigma out, either attached or not, and also want to have some of the rest of the collection with me too; the 17-70 and 10-20 Sigmas, 2x T con, 580EX and a monopod, plus batteries and spare cards.

Judging by what I've read on here so far, the Kata R-102 is looking like the best option, but what do you use?

Thanks in advance

I use a Tenba LL-300 long lens bag. It will hold the Bigma+20d with battery grip perfectly. There is a large front pocket that is perfect for a flash and other various tools of the trade. On one side, there are two Velcro loops for a tripod.
