These are some shots of one of the few Drive-Ins still in existence in Canada. Just watched Die Hard 3 and 1408 there a couple of weeks ago. Went back the next day and took these shots.

#1 and #2 are my favorite. I assume you took out some of the saturation in photoshop with these photos?

Cool stuff. There aren't many drive-ins left.
To contrast that did you ever see this photo by Winston Link? Taken during the hey day of drive-ins. But in Links photo the steam locomotive was breathing its last breaths and the airplanes were becoming the mode for shipping freight and travel.

Thanks for sharing these neat photos...

We here in Carbon Co. PA, still have a few Drive - In's fully functioning, with the latest feature films on the big screen...
They do make interesting subjects.

That's a real cool pic from your link airfrogusmc.

Winston has some really great shots from the end of the steam era. I really like Dawgs drive inn shots too.
Heres a couple more from Link.
He would shoot with a view camera and string lights all down the tracks on and on other subjects he wanted lit.

If I could get inside the building with the where you buy your popcorn etc... I don't think it has been touched in decades. It is fascinating being inside there, it takes you back to a different era. Kind of sad though that the back half of the lot is growing over and you know it's not going to be long before it closes. They run it on a year by year basis. It was already shut down for a year and then a new owner opened it back up. I would like to get into the projection room and get some pics in there.

Thanks for your comments everyone. One of my favorite locations so far.
