Why are the movie files taken on Canon A80 MVI format, as Windows doesnt recognise these. Having said that, they will play on Media Player but show no assosiation icon in explorer.
Another question not relevant perhaps on this forum,I would like to ask is, to play movie files from an Olympus camera I needed to install Quicktime to play their MOV format. When it was installed Media Player would also play them, as though the installation of the MOV codec now allowed this. Could I uninstall Quicktime and just get the MOV codec for Media Player? Hope this makes sense.
