so i recently got my 300D (two weeks old)...already gotten close to taking 500 pics w/ it. i guess its time to fill out those warranty cards from canon. i got two: one for the camera, and one for the lens--and i completely lost on how-to fill the ones that have the "U.S.A only" watermarked on them...as its, just confusing "period."
are these to keep for our own records? or are they suppose to be mailed out somewhere? TIA.

Not necessary to register either way. Warranty is in effect based on your receipt date.

If I remeber right the cards are to be used when you need to execute on the warranty.
