B&W printing on colour laser printer

My work place has a colour laser printer. I tried printing out some B&W pics I have, but the white parts come out as greyish. How do I get it properly B&W?

Having tried the same thing myself for quiick contact prints the conclusion I came to is you cant. Even on our Laser that has a supposed photo mode, the whites come out slightly dirty

I have a cheap Samsung £99 B&W laser printer. I can get some very nice prints onto plain copier paper at A4 size. Not gallery quality, of course, but better than you would see in a daily newspaper.
