My instructions were to keep out of the way from the main
photographer,so I found it hard to get anygood shots using my
sigma 24 -70 2.8.
It was a hell of alot harder that i ever thought shooting a wedding,
physicaly and skills/technique wise, really it can be very stressfull in everyway
and I was just 2nd shooting.I also had serious probs with some shots OOF and blurry results because of this,I found the sigma 24-70 quite heavy and awkward on my 400D...maybe this was the reason for some shots OOF.
All said,I still had a great experience on the day,and the wedding party and family and guests were so outgoing and friendly which made it alot easier!
Ok il post some shots for c+c.

Best way is to get a domain and buy some hosting space at somewhere like Godaddy. upload the shots, then link to the images in your post. 8 images allowed that way.

You can also sign up for a free host at some where like Pbase and upload them there, then link back to them in a post.

Looks good overall.

A lot of shots look "from above" though

I'm only 5'7" so it doesn't happen too much to me LOL

You seem to add a bit of glow to some of these images (would youshare how?)... nice effect but it could get old if you do too many. Good job, Dennis

I just use the midnight black action on these, with the opacity turned down to about 70%,then use the history brush to bring back sharpness to selected areas,i.e the face.

You've got some nice shots there, but the overuse of soft focus really kills them. Let's see some originals/different edits.

Yeah I think most people would prefer to keep the editing simple
would it be better to not use the midnight black action, which causes the
soft focus look?

I'd shoot from a wider variety of angles. Try crouching and shooting upward from time to time.
