G2 LCD very very dark - Mulfunction or software problem?

My G2 LCD doesn't work very well, the imagem is so dark that I can't see anything. It is there (I see) because at some direction of ligth I can see very dark the image or the scene.
Is not a brighteness configuration problem.
Is anyone have a problem like that, is it a malfunction, or only a software or firmware problem?

Check the LCD setting to see whether it is set for "Normal" or "Bright". (See page 118 of manual) It is accessed through the setup menu.
