This has been a truly blessed week for me. I sold my motorcycle yesterday, will be buying a used D60 in excellent shape this evening from WHO10, ordered an upgrade to PS CS yesterday, ordered a 1GB CF card from Amazon today and now will be ordering 2 lenses!

I am going to get the Tamron 28-75 2.8 and the Canon 70-200 4.0. But, when I went to Buydig.com they are out of the Tamron. B&H is out of the Canon  . So, should I buy one from each vendor or is there another trusted e-tailer that you can recommend?

I would like to order today but don't have to. I'm just so excited that I would like to get things going.

Thanks.

Tim,

I was wondering if you were on this board too. Sad to see the RT go, oh well, like Wurty you might be back someday.

Nice trade for cool photo stuff though. :D I've thought about possibly down grading the RT and plowing the proceeds into lenses myself. Can't say I have any advice on the lens ordering though.

Mark,

Motorcycling is in my blood so I'm confident that not having a bike will be a temporary thing. I figure all I need to do is sell about $20,000 worth of photos and I'm back in business :D .

Have fun on the RT.

I had very good luck with onecall.com. Got my reply email with the tracking number the same day I ordered my 10D and I got my 10D two days early.

I ordered my 24-70 2.8L from Buydig and they too were good. Not quite on top of it as Onecall but still good.

BTW I ride an '02 Road King Classic.

Other then B&H in NYC for photo equipment I have used;

www.keh.com (nice used selection - stock changes daily)
www.canogacamera.com
www.Amazon.com,
...and even Dell without any problems.

Good Luck!

Yes, other than B&H, there is always Adorama.

Thanks everyone. I decided to order from 17th Street Photo and my two lenses are already on their way Westward!

I've had very good luck with both B&H and Adorama. Their prices are comparable.

I drive a 2002 Ultra Classic. Sorry to hear you lost your cycle.
