I am now very close to purchasing the i9900 to replace my Epson 1280. I have a lot of EPSON photo paper (Luster, Premium Glossy and Matte) which I would prefer not to waste. I always like to stick to the same papers as the printer make BUT has anyone tried Epson paper in the i9900 or any other Canon printers? Would I be able to use it and get good results?

P.S. I know the 2200 would solve this problem but...!

As always, any feedback is very welcome.

I know tihs is hardly what your asking but...

I use canon paper on my girlfriends epson photoprinter all the time and they turned out great. In fact, i'd say better then the epson paper she has.

...for what it's worth.

I just switched from the 1280 to the 9900 and had all kinds of Epson paper left over. They all printed very well with the 9900. No problems.

I have the Canon i860. Epson paper works very well for me.
