Acronyms

Taking my first nervous steps in digital photography, would like to find a list describing, in layman's terms, the meaning of the various acronyms and formats in use. The software I received seems to assume prior knowledge, which I don't possess.

It would be useful to have access to such a list.

How about a list of acronyms you need help on?

You might want to pick up a book or two from the library. They provide good reference material (and many are indexed.)
