What's going on here?

Hi there I was looking on ebay for reversing rings for macro- anyway I saw this and noticed that he is saying the 52mm ring will fit on the 100mm macro; which I know to be 58mm- also in one of the pics the numbers on the rings- though blurred (suspiciously blurred?) look like 52mm-58mm which would mean that this is a false listing- I've emailed him to ask about it but just wondered what you guys reckoned- am I just being paranoid?

He could be using a step down ring with the 100mm on the body -> step down ring -> reverse ring -> 50mm.
