I have been asked to shoot engagement pictures this Sunday (and for their actual wedding in October). The engagement shoot will be at Myrtle Edwards Park in Seattle, so it will be outdoors. Can someone please give advice on any poses for bride and groom?
This will be my first engagement and wedding shoot. Any suggestions and advice is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

My first wedding is within a few days and I had the same question and decided to scour all the websites & blogs of my favorite shooters for photos I liked and then sketch the poses on paper. Then use these to show the B&G how you want them to pose.

I just saw this pose and thought it was SO AWESOME! =) You have the pair stand outdoors (bright daylight) a couple feet in front of a wall (brick wall or some other texture makes it more interesting), facing each other. Have them stand about a foot or two apart. Their upper bodies are leaning in together for a kiss, but you only photograph their legs and their shadow on the ground/wall showing them kissing. It looked great, and totally unique. =)

I would like to see an example of this.

Check out this intro page.
They are photographers up here in the WNY area. Their work is awesome and we love looking at their stuff.
You'll notice the photo on the far right is like the poster was talking about
