Does anyone have a team image that they would like to show. I have a HS football team that I need to take there picture for the Ad book. I'm triyng not to use the bleachers, if possible. About 75-80 players with coaches. I want to do something a little different than the norm. Thanks

I'm doing one this Saturday...not as many players, but honestly...as one who hates to just 'follow the norm'...I also realize that there is only so much you can do with a large group of football players in uniform. (my opinion of course)
We have a new field (articifial turf) this year with our team logo embedded in the center. I might try arranging them around that and shooting from a ladder. But just concentrate on getting a good exposure and everyone sitting up straight and visible. If you get that done, you'll be ahead of the game for sure. Good luck.

I don't have a pic handy, but when I was in high school, we put 15 players per row, staggered and then coaches across top of the bleachers
. We had the cheerleaders running up both sides of the team. The photog was about 30 yards away on a cherry picker (ladder if that's all you have).

In college we had three rows featuring about 120 players/coaches. It gets LONG and the best bet for that many is to stack them, using benches/bleachers or else you're going to have a lot of dead space that is not going to look good (ours didn't). I would say with that many players your best bet is 5 rows...most the time for high schools you don't have portable bleachers, but the best I've seen is at the 50 yard line with bleachers like that. If you dont want to use them, I would say at least use benches...
- Cross legged sitting on the ground
- On one knee or sitting on a bench
- Standing behind them
- Standing on benches
...most NFL/college teams go by number so you could set them up that way.
