Canon SD600 Max SD Capacity

Hi,

I have a Canon SD600 and I was wondering what the max capacity SD card it can use is?

I think a 2 GB works, but will it be able to store 4 GB or even 8 GB?

I need a cheap video camera and instead of buying one I figured I'd just buy a big SD card and use my Canon as the vid camera..

2 GB's the limit AFAIK. Nowhere does Canon say it supports SDHC. Even if it did, you've still got a 9 min. video clip limit, which is about 1 GB. I find that 9 min. is plenty for most things; I go longer than that only if a long lecture or whatever.
