Here are some random shots taken this past Sunday afternoon on a whale watching trip. I love when there are a lot of kids on the boat because they tend to get bored pretty quickly and start feeding the seagulls. This of course provides tons of photo opportunities. Enjoy! :)

Boy....I think you really have your BIF technique down pat. These are splendid with great exposure and focus. But what makes these images really special are some of the fairly unique poses and your treatment and focus on the eyes...razor sharp. Well done.

the pose in number 4 is very unique; I like this one the best, but they all have great focus and exposure. I can scarcely fault a single one of them.

Wow, #3 is fantastic! I also think the rough plumage adds to the shot. Very good series.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. :)
I may be one of the few people who simply adore seagulls. Yes, they can be a little pesty, but they're so beautiful to me and a lot of fun to watch and photograph. I like getting the odd poses especially when they're in flight. :) I'm going on another whale watch tomorrow morning. Hoping for a chance to catch some more!
