The right flash for a 300D

Can I get some recommendations for a flash for the 300D.

If you want power, quality, compatibility in a relatively small, affordable package, get the 420EX.

If you want slightly more power, and the ability to chose manual settings (you cant select flash exposure compensation on the 300d unless you use the hacked firmware, so this is a nice feature to have)), but in a larger, more expensive package, you can't beat the 550EX.

I purchased the 550EX a month ago for my 300D and have not looked back. It provides additional features that you might need and the 300D does not provide, FEC, FPF etc.
