let say u are using a st-e2 with 2 580ex..call it A and B as a slave..A is your main flash and B is your fill in flash for shadow...is the st-e2 can independently control the output flash for each slave? i want the B just fill in flash so i want it less ouput...thanks...or just make suggestion of how to set up a multiple flash..like inside the church? http://photography-on-the.net/forum/images/icons/icon7.gif:)

Set one of the 580EX flashes to Group A and the other to Group B. Make sure both are in ETTL mode and set as slaves. On the ST-E2, turn on ratio by pressing the RATIO button. Then set the ratio by pressing the < or tne > key. The first number in the ratio is for the Group A flash and the 2nd number is for the Group B flash. So, for example, if you want your main light (Group A in your example) to be 2 stops brighter than the fill light, set the ratio to 4:1. Note that the ratios on the ST-E2 are given in light intensities, not stops.

Leo, thanks...i was wrong then...i thought those numbers are stops...now i know...
