I have just downloaded the PDF Spanish 300D manual from here (http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controller?act=DownloadDetailAct&fcategoryid=314&m odelid=9430#New%20Window) (recently issued), and I am surprised. The manual can be viewed perfectly on the screen, but when I am going to print, the "COPY" word appears like a watermark on each sheet .

This watermark didn't appear on the english version manual that I downloaded some months ago.

Anybody knows how can I remove this watermark?

Thanks

They are there for a reason...

Sorry, but I don't understand the reason. The english manual doesn't have this trick (congratulations for english people), Why spanish manual not? This is an injustice. I only want the manual for private use and most of people too.

P.s.: I have not the Spanish manual because I bought my camera in France

This is an injustice.

An injustice?

An inconvenience yes, but an injustice...no.

If they want to make you pay for a translated manual that is their own choice, but if it's watermarked they obviously do not want to give it away.

Ok, It's your opinion, but I have paid for my camera the same that an English-speaking customer, so I think that I have the same rights.

In any case, CANON is free to apply this policy, but like a CANON customer I disagree it. If CANON has to translate the manuals, it is a CANON problem, that is because they are selling in different countries.

Recently Canon started to do that, due to the proliferation of ebay sales of their manuals.

The english version that you have is an old one.

this would be time consuming but you could take a "sceenshot" of each page and print that out.

are you using mac or PC?

Thanks arumdevil. I use PC.

I had thought about that idea but it is very tedious and the final quality is degraded.

By the moment, I prefer to read my English manual, it is a little bit easier for me .

Thank you.

Call Canon Spain and ask for a printed manual.
