dose the 10d have rear curtian sync capability. there is no reference to it in the manual..

yes it does. it's enabled from the custom functions menu (sorry i don't have the camera in front of me)

Did you mean 2nd-curtain sync? If so, see page 150 of your 10D user's manual.
