Greetings. Just wanted to share some shots I took at a Jazz Festival last weekend. Some horrendous conditions given the lighting in the venues, but shooting RAW and giving them big hits in PP helped tremendously. Enjoy.

Holy crap that first drummer looks like some psycho who escaped from the asylum for the weekend!

The last two are very nice.

Typical drummer and much better than most lead guitarists! :lol::lol::lol:

What was the lighting ... there is no EXIF which would be nice. Fun captures even if they aren't CD labels. :cool:

No EXIF as these are SendPhoto images. The lighting was a mix of fluoro, tungsten, stage lights etc etc. 1 & 3 were on the same stage at different times with a lot of tungsten downlights and fortunately a low white ceiling. Bounced flash and ISO400. #2 was under fluoro with a higher white ceiling and also bounced @ ISO400. #4 was on a stage with black everywhere except the white backdrop, red and blue stage lights overhead and no flash used. Shot at ISO800 off a tripod. You'll notice the drummer in the background is the same guy in #1.
