I see a few other people were there and took some beautiful shots. Here are some of mine.

Thanks Rich and Ryan,

I love those air shows and look for any chance to see either the Navy Blue Angels or Air Force Thunderbirds. The Stealth always blows me away because it just comes out of nowhere and then there's this huge black wing flying through the air.

What lens did you use?

These are really nice shots. One suggestion though would be to use a slower shutter speed on aircraft with propellers or blades so you get some blur motion. That adds to the feeling of movement. Otherwise, these are really nice shots.

Hi jlozano180,

I was using my 70-200 f/4 L and I borrowed a Kenko 1.4x TC to check out before I buy it and now that I see the excellent results I'm going to grab it.

The IQ is excellent and AF was still very fast.

You're so right TxLerman,

I realized that after I shot those. I was so concerned about having a fast enough shutter speed to capture jets moving hundreds of miles per hour that it completely slipped my mind.

One of the more interesting shots I've seen of the B-2. I like how the sun is reflecting off the bomber.

I remembered last year how the B2 came out of nowhere and was flying low and it was silent until it passed you. Then you could hear it ripping through the sky. I was prepared for the moment it came out and took that turn. I have some shots underneath but from the bottom it appears as a black wedge and you can't see detail. It's completely black.

Like the shots....I can't wait for the local airshow here on Nov. 3&4....even though there will be no Thunderbirds or Blue Angels :(

smaller.
