Well I was wondering what is the cheapest RAW converting software out side of the canon software, which doesn’t allow for much control at all really. I know there is C1 in many forms like Pro,LE,SE and on and on. How ever is there no other soft ware out there at an affordable price? Not including Photoshop CS in the mix. RAW is the best way to shoot how ever the software is slow and it takes allot of time over shooting high Jepeg. Any thoughts will help.

Thanks,
Angelo

I use Breezebrowser. It's relatively inexpensive (though I can't remember what I paid). It does excellent work, with some control but not everything you get with C1 pro.

A handy program...and it is free.

Just be sure to download the plugins as well.

Yes, I'll vote for Irfanview. I rarely have to resort to anything else. Only a seriously mucked up image gets the photoshop treatment.
