Hi everyone!

I am thinking of bying a teleconverter but have a
questions that some of you might know the answer to.

As I understand it, when using the teleconverter,
you need to set the zoom to 21 mm in order to get
rid of vingetting.
My question: Are there any teleconverter that is less
sensitive in this respect. A converter where you can use
the zoom a litle bit ?

Thanks

I use the Tiffen teleconverter and get a bit of vignetting even at full zoom. Usually I can crop it out in Photoshop, but I'd like it better if that wasn't needed. Interestingly, I shoot some photos at 7 mm and get the dark circle effect, which really impresses most people that see it. Whatever works!

The Canon tele allows you to zoom a little bit. However, it is only 1.5x the weakest of the good lenses. The Olympus B300 has excellent optical quality, but is very hard to find. The Tiffen Megaplus vignettes just a touch at full zoom and is of OK image quality.
