REMINDER

IN discussion threads in informational forums the use of "Embedded" images should be kept to a bare minimum.

Use LINKS as opposed to embedding.

This practice is resulting in the unreasonable load times for our members trying to actually read and participate in the discussion threads.

A warning of image content is another option where the nature of the discussion thread involves example images. But this is only a valid alternative for those who have started a thread. When reponding in a htread a LINK is allways preferable.

Also,. yes there are times that embedding images is practically required...
This is not a moritorium on Embedding images! :)

However consideration needs to be paid as to how and when images get used in this manner out side of "Share" and "Critique"

As allways,. the Share and Critique forums are there for just this type of embedded image display. In these forums all users are forwarned by inference that the content will contain detailed.. possibly slow loading images. Post away in share, and embed all those fabulous pics!

Thank you,
