Maybe this is the right place to post this question. Can somebody tell me how you use a digital backdrop? I see them advertised with the christmas theme's and other, but I don't know how that works. Can somebody clue me in?

Thanks,

Teeny

I use a Green Chroma key Backdrop and you can use Photoshop to remove just the green. Ebay is full of digital background that work ok. I invested money in the Express Digital software. I do alot of studio shoots and events and it has a greenscreen mode that just removes the background for you with one click. However it was very expensive but I use it everyday so it was worth it.

You know, the biggest iisue I've seen with the greenscreen stuff is the green color spill onto the subject. For those of you using it, do you find you need a certain distance of subject from BG or special light setup?

I have two green backdrops that have been boxed for over a year forthis very reason. I could not get the green out of blond hair.
