What movie(s) do you secretly like? You might be a 6'8", 300# linebacker and secretly like "The Crying Game".

Ok, here's mine. "You've Got Mail." I have no idea why I like this movie so much, but I do. Watch it everytime it's on and have it on DVD. Ok, the cat's out of the bag. Your turn.

Are you sure you don't like "The Crying Game?" I will admit that was a damn good movie. One hell of a twist at the end, if you haven't seen it you need to and I won't tell you how it ends cause that would ruin it. Just be prepared! "The Crying Game" kinda ranks up there with "Deliverence." Classic.

For the longest time I never watched "Titanic" and then I saw it. I figured it would be some stupid love story but its a pretty good movie. "The Wall" is also a crazy classic, the list is too long to single out one.

All of the above! I like movies when I actually get to see and hear all of them, which isn't often. My family is no fun to watch movies with, husband and kids....what did he say, I don't get it, loud laughter, repeating of movie lines. I usually miss half the movie because they won't be quiet! We are watching Wild Hogs tonight, anyone see that?

Rollerball. (The 1975 original of course, not the pathetic recent remake.)

I think it's a wry satire on globalism and politics and the direction in which society is sleepwalking. And it has a superb soundtrack. Everyone else I know thinks it's just mindless violence.

I am a sucker for the old classics and still can't find a good copy of "Vivacious Lady" with Jimmy Stewart and Ginger Rogers. I taped the show from AMC once years ago, but can't find it. And I do like the "Parent Trap"old and new versions.

The husband took his 9 year old daughter back to her mom's on Thursday. I was secretly disappointed that I wouldn't get to watch it. The husband has no idea that I liked the first one, so last night he put the tv on High School Musical 2 and left the room to try to torture me. Well, when he came back into the room, I was engrossed by the movie and our 2 year old son was dancing along to it.

Oy, just came across this thread. This looks like fun. OK, let's see.

Amazon Women On The Moon (previously mentioned). I liked this movie, but I liked Kentucky Fried Movie better.

Real Genius (previously mentioned) Great movie.

Buckaroo Banzai (previously mentioned) - Great movie. For a while, my .sig was "Remeber, no matter where you go, there you are."

I liked the Naked Guns movies (I was a fan of Police Squad, but I refuse to watch the movies anymore because of a certain lying murderer that stars in the movie).

Lessee, there's a movie from the early 80's called Sorceress. Very cheesy fantasy flick that starred twin Playboy bunnies. The acting was very hackneed, and the action sequences were at best clunky, but my friend and I went to the drive-in and watched it and laughed our butts off (I think the pot had something to do with that). I purchased the movie a couple of years ago and watched it without the pot, still pretty funny).

Let's not forget Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Very cheesy. Great theme song.

I can probably think of more, but it's late for me, and I need to go to bed.

You and I are the only two people on the planet that know this movie.

"Tie a yellow ribbon 'round the old Oak tree..."

The Volvo commercial with the guy in the feather hat is awesome.

Make it three - I must have seen that movie 50 times in college. "Is it Bullsh*t ... or Not?"

But I have to admit, my weakness is disaster movies. I remember seeing the Towering Inferno when it came out (I was in elementary school.) I'll watch any bad made-for-TV disaster movie. "Atomic Twister", "Category 6: Day of Destruction", "Superstorm", etc. Sci-Fi channel just recently had The Most Dangerous Night on Television", with some really BAD disaster movies like "Solar Attack." And yes, I watched it. ;)

Has anyone seen "Beyond the Poseidon Adventure", the 1979 sequel to the original classic (and one of my favorite all-time movies)? If you want a good laugh, check it out. It's TERRIBLE!!

Oh I should mention that I'll go see any Star Trek film simply because it's Star Trek. I spent a year in Germany and went to see all 6 original series films (all that there were at the time) in a row, all dubbed in German!

FIrst off, why would you be ashamed of fifth element? Milla Jovovich is smokin in that film.
Cause my wife hates the film...so I usually end up watching it alone...just for Mila Jovovich ;)
Second how the hell can you like Napolean Dynamite, im disapointed in you rob :(:p.
Who wouldn't like Napolean Dynamite? It's set in the '80s man.
BTW, I have to go to this one day:
