Thanks for the comments everyone- much appreciated :)
macro-junkie- because the codes are interpreted if I post them here or in a PM, pm me an email- address and I will send you an example code. I just have a text file on my desktop that I copy and paste the pic urls into when I'm doing it.

Yep, it's a southern hawker male. He got a bit shy in shot three and looked away. Great set Brian and I'm envious of the inflight shot.

great panorama, maybe 200mm better for flight shots?

Superb as always Brian.
The panorama is my favourite, closely followed by the DIF.

Thanks again for the kind comments everyone :)
RM- think you are right re the 200mm for DF's in flight- just couldn't resist trying just with the sigma 105 though as the DF was making regular trips around the pond and landing in approximately the same place.

Awesome :)
I must admit it is the first I've heard of macro panoramas, but it does make so much sense. A new experiment soon :D

Thanks :)
I often take multiple shots of bugs either for focus stacking or for stereos so trying a panorama seemed to be an obvious thing to do. Needed if you get stuck with a large dragonfly and an MPE-65 lens :)
I use autopano pro to put them together but suspect a lot of the other pano software will work fine.

Lovely shots Brian - you are lucky to have some DF's in your garden, they seem a bit few and far between this Summer unfortunately.
I would agree with RM with regard to using a 200mm, but you have to go with whatever lense is on at that time and see how it goes ay, so a good result for you :-)
