Tweaking my workflow (help managment)

Here is my workflow
1. Copy CR2 files to G: drive
2. Import in LR at present location
3. Edit in LR and export 8bit PSD to G:Pictures
4. Edit in PS and save JPGs to G:Pictures/My Pics
5. Post on web
6. Put Jpegs and Raw in appropriate folders in "My Pics" ie landscape etc.

I want to use LR to find pics, rate pics, etc. What do I need to change in my workflow to do this. Should I import all my files in LR and begin the process of rating them?

I apply keywords to all of my files once in lightroom. If there is a consistent theme or subject to them some of these can be done while doing the import.
You can then just click on the keyword that you are interested in, say landscape and all thumbnails will appear.

This is where some of the power really lies within lightroom.
