Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum so I hope this is the right place to ask the following question:I recently saw that famous Henri Cartier-Bresson picture where two dogs are "having fun" while two dogs are watching. Does anyone know the name that HCB has given that picture? Thank you.

If nobody can help me here: Do you know a place on the net where people might help me along?

Most likely it's in the book "A Propos de Paris" http://www.aviewoncities.com/zzbooks/showproduct.php?asin=0821224964&city=paris

You might also try to drop a mail in contact@henricartierbresson.org which is email for Cartier-Bresson foundation in Paris (http://henricartierbresson.org).

I assume that most people are not too snottish to answer you ... but they came to the same result as myself when I tried it when you posted it before ... not easily possible to find that on the Internet.

I found pretty few HCB photographs, but a lot of books about him ... which would be not much help to you.

Best regards,
Andy

One pretty sure method if you REALLY need to know the name: open a free account in http://www.artprice.com and then pay them some to view the images on listings, they seem to have more than 700 Cartier-Bresson photos listed.

Indeed, I tried to help you out with an extesive search, there are a several references to the pic in reviews of the book "A Propos de Paris" as Pekka mentioned. Tried to get the name but gave up after almost an hour.

BTW: found this page with a nice short radio programme where HCB is interviewed: http://www.npr.org/display_pages/features/feature_1318621.html

In that interview it is mentioned there is a film where HCB shoots in New York , anyone have that on net?
