Leaving in the morning to Waikiki, with my 350D.

Anyone have any special places to shoot?

As soon as you step off the plane, pretty much everywhere you look will have special places. I would recommend getting away from the beaches and driving up into the mountains, as there is some absolutely gorgeous scenery up there. Just hope you get a clear day, as last time I was there, the clouds just hovered over the mountain tops.

If you like to shoot surfing then get yourself to the north shore for really big waves and, imo, some crazy people who go out in them. Sandy beach is great for body surfing shots and you can get alot closer to them here.

Once you have been to a beach they all start to look them same. The zoo is right near Waikiki if you are into that. There are bus tours that go just about anywhere

i was just in oahu for my honeymoon and I fell in love with the north shore. I thought I got the best pictures there so that would be my recomendation.
