Well I just passed my CCNA certification exam today. So I'm officially a Cisco Certified Network Associate. I did a 7 day boot camp down here in Atlanta. (Marietta) My flight back to Raleigh doesn't leave until tomorrow morning, so I thought I'd hang out w/ my POTN friends until I left. I did bring my camera, but It's too dang hot to go walking around to find something to shoot.

Just wondering... do they ask you questions about how the frames and packets are constructed and how many bits/bytes each part of the frame is?
I took the CCNA classes a few years ago, but never actually took the exam because A- my job didn't need it, and B- I couldn't remember all of that frame/packet junk :-D
So I was wondering if they really put the stupid "you will never use this in your life, and if you do - Google it" type stuff on the test?

You won't have to dissect a frame and name all the pieces of the frame, but you'll have to know about the main parts of the frame and what they do in general. I'll probably forget all that little stuff in about 48 hours or so...lol. But my job will keep me on my toes as far as troubleshooting networks and stuff. And like you said...for all that other stuff....that's what google is for. Trust me, google was used quite often this week.
