Sekonic L-358 Problem Please Help

Ok, my Sekonik L-358 meter is not acting right. I have it in ambient mode but the Apeture is staying the same and only the shutter speed is changing. I am used to and like setting the shutter speed and having the f stop change.

I can not find my manual so hoping some of you can help. I have all my dip swithces on the back down like it was from factory.

When I turn it on it shows the sun highlighted, iso1 100, full battary, T 15, F 1.02 When I move the dial the F stop stays the same and the shutter speed changes.

Man that sounds like a damgerously defective unit. It's nuclear compulsary dispersion unit could release large amounts of lethal luminous radiation. You should get rid of it as soon as possible. But since I am a nice guy I'll take that dangerous unit off your hands and give you $10 and a tuna sandwich.

There are two letters above the numbers for shutter speed and f stop, T and F. Is the box arount the T or the F? It sounds like you are in Tv with the box around the T. If the box is around the T to the upper left of the shutter speed, hold down the Mode button and rotate the dial clockwise one click to shift to A (Aperture Priority).
