Hello... This is my first forum post and these pictures are from my first time shooting a band with a 'real' camera (my fella usually shoots the photos but I figure sharing the passion is even better!)
I was in the first row for these pictures - only had one lens at the time. :)
C&C welcome as I'm looking to get better to represent my fave local/regional bands in all sorts of situations- a nice challenge, I'd say.
Thanks for looking!

hey mary, i like the 1st two quite a bit, and i like the non-standard PP you've done on the other two. 3rd would be stronger had there been more face captured.

First two are nice. Last one is a bit, er, ah, um, strange. Must have been poor light as the 50mm f/1.4 is pretty fast and at ISO1600 these are still a bit dark.

I say leave the sepia stuff behind. The first shot is fantastic! Work on that more.

Thanks for the comments, very sweet of all of you.
I'm still really learning about how to work the camera but am excited to get more experience. I'm glad the cut-off guitar necks weren't too distracting- I was a little worried about that but I was too close to the stage and squished to get any decent fuller shots. 'Twas a good time nonetheless!

Nah. You picked a subject and put the focus on him. The neck isn't important. If you were to shoot the guitar, then I'd say crop out part of the musician. I really like the way you've cropped these, though. You made the right choice.
